Gucci is pleased to unveil its newly renovated London flagship boutique located at 18 Sloane Street. the bags are designed by the new creative director Frida Giannini..
the collection is available exclusively at the Sloane Street flagship.
With a touch of irony, Frida Giannini has designed the exclusive limited edition ‘Sloaney Bag’ collection as a tribute to London in the Seventies..
For the rock ‘n roll rebellious types there is the Joy GG canvas ‘Sloaney Bag’ ( available in three sizes ), which bears the Union Jack in all of its glory..
and for more mild taste and luxury conscious there is the precious Royal Blue Joy edition in either Guccissima leather or crocodile adorned with a gold embossed coronet tag.
once again I say The collection will be only available for purchase at the Gucci Sloane Street store.

FRINGE GLASSES
these glasses were premiered during the Spring/Summer runway show of the Berlin-based design agency Bless ..
it was designed by Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag
the fringe is not made of Metal ..its made of a mix between light linen, cotton and silk fabrics in mat colors that should protect from intense sun..though it gives a wonderful reflection of the sun rays..
the first time I saw it was on Beyonce’s video (DIVA) and I thought it was custom-made for her ..

KNOW YOURSELF .. what counts is to know how to look at yourself-what you should show and what you should hide. You have to spend time in front of the mirror. Very few women pay attention to that.
USE YOUR HEAD .. my style corresponds to the image I have of the left bank woman who pays attention to what’s going on in the streets,in politics,in the world.clothing is also is also something that happens in your head.
REMEMBER THE POWER OF BLACK.. black is a magnificent color-it gives you an outline like a pencil stroke. f
ADD A LITTLE SPARKLE.. I love accessories – bags ,shoes,brooches,necklaces. I even like to have a diamante slide or a flower in my hair. If you’re wearing a little black dress, a sparkling detail adds a simple and a pretty touch.
HAVE A FAIL-SAFE OUTFIT .. It’s important to have an outfit that always works for you- one that you know you look good in for when you are in a rush.
LEARN THE ART OF PACKING.. I always travel lots of long jackets , in black ,brown or navy blue, and matching trousers . then i mix and match the jackets and the trousers.
LET YOUR FEET DO THE TALKING.. I love eccentric , quirky shoes with colors and very high heels that are gilded or extravagantly embellished with diamante. A pretty foot underlines a look. It’s a way of defining a style.
DRESS FOR YOURSELF.. Of course fashion is important, but I think the way you live counts for much more. A woman should be herself and dress according to who she is.
SEDUCE WITH YOUR STYLE.. It’s very natural to be sexy,to be seductive – it’s a way of being . You can do much by paying careful attention to your clothes, by knowing a length or a certain color that suits you.
IGNORE OTHER PEOPLE’S ADVICE..You shouldn’t ask for other people’s advice , and certainly not for your partner’s. it’s useless . You need to know yourself – that’s enough.

his collection was obviously inspired be the beloved Jim Henson MUPPETS ..
the models’ hair were like Andy Warhol’s who was another inspiration for the designer..
